Visiting Us

VISITOR POLICY

Please note, no matter your reason for entry:

  • You will need to present identification (ID) and state name, address, cell phone number.
  • Upon arrival, you must perform hand hygiene with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Masks are encouraged, but no longer required for visitors in common areas and many patient care areas of the hospital.
  • Visitors with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, diarrhea or vomiting should not visit until they are well and no longer have symptoms.
  • Visitors recently diagnosed with Covid-19 should not visit until 10 days have passed since their Covid-19 diagnosis, in accordance with CDC recommendations for healthcare settings.
  • Visitors who had a recent close contact with someone with Covid-19 and who cannot tolerate continuously wearing a mask, should not visit until 10 days have passed since their last contact, in accordance with CDC recommendations for healthcare settings.

VISITATION PROTOCOL

  • Visiting hours are between 12 noon and 8 pm.
  • Visitation will be limited to 2 visitors over the age of 18.
  • If you are visiting a patient in maternity, pediatrics (under age of 15) or at end of life, there may be further accommodations on visiting. If you are visiting a patient in isolation or intensive care, there may be restrictions on visiting. Please check with nursing staff.

On the patient floors, you must:

  • Wa​​sh or sanitize your hands upon entering and exiting the patient’s room or cubicle, and as needed.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), if needed, will be supplied.

HAVE A DOCTOR’S APPOINTMENT?

  • Arrive only 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment.
  • Come alone unless you are in need of assistance, are a child or an expectant parent. In those cases, you can have one person accompany you.

GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM OR RECOVERY ROOM?

  • ER and Recovery Room (PACU) patients are permitted to have one visitor at the bedside.

ARE YOU A PATIENT IN LABOR?

  • You are permitted to give birth with both a partner and a certified doula by your side.

Any visitor who DOES NOT comply by these guidelines, will be asked to leave the hospital.

At any given time, °µÍø³Ô¹Ï reserves the right to change this policy based on changing health guidelines.
